I have been reading info for a couple of days and I have searched but have not been able to find a straight answer so please forgive me if this has been asked a million times already.

I have an older PC with 1Ghz+ AMD CPU, 512MB RAM and an Nvidia 5200FX
Video card w/s-video out. I would like to set this up as a playback machine only hooked up to my TV so I can watch all of my DVD's ripped to ISO's and TV shows. Will an auto install of Knoppmyth do this relatively easily? I can deal with basic command line stuff and following guides but since I don't want to do the typical frontend/backend set up and record as well I have had trouble finding the right info.

Any help or links to directions would be appreciated.

Yeah, this is what MythTV does.
You'll need an extra piece to be able to rip the DVDs.
