Post subject:  Initializing Serial Port... problems
upgraded to the new r5c7 and WOW.... lots of stuff has been improved and fixed.

save one thing...
directv.pl

i go into the /usr/local/bin dri
and
wget the script
then chmod +x it

then when i go to run it, this is what i get...

        (in cleanup) Can't call method "setcflag" on an undefined value at /usr/lib/perl5/Device/SerialPort.pm line 482 during global destruction.


anybody got any ideas?

yes... i do not rember exactly what i did. mythtv already had the script installed... i jsut needed to un tar it

the script is called d10controll.pl

I THINK... i am sorry but i can not send you the script that i was useing (technically you already have it) as i do not use mythtv anymore.

i plan to start useing it again sometime in the future but for reasons i cant go into i can not use it anymore.

look arround for the d10 script and that should be waht you need.
