After getting Openchrome installed for the XvMC Pro support and getting DRI to load, mythtv ran okay, but didn't appear to use the acceleration, even with the viaXvMC setting. So I'm attempting to recompile myth with the --enable-xvmc-pro option.

I've tried countless ./configure options and each time, mythtv-setup reports my Fusion 5 lite card correctly and successfully scans for channels. Mythfrontend launches okay too but mythbackend results in an immediate Segmentation fault. I've tried both the tarball and cvs and I dumped mythconverg from my SQL database and mythbackend still won't run.

Is there some unlikely configure option that I'm missing for Knoppmyth R5C7?

the last few lines before the segfault might give you an idea of where it hits the wall.
