Hi all,

I have looked everywhere but maybe what i am trying to accomplish is not possible...

Here is my setup:
1 FE/MBE w/ PVR350 and 250 GB drive...all recording is done here..think slower system

1 laptop SBE, no tuners...I would like this machine to run commericial jobs/transcode/myth2ipod and such..think faster system

Since my MBE is a slower machine..and I think the drive cant keep up with watching a show and transcoding at the same time, I would like to have the SBE do the jobs. I looked at the LinHES and seems like a good setup.

My main question is...if the SBE does all the jobs, do the recordings get copied to the SBE and then run from the SBE local disk?
