All, My MythTV runs great and I love it. But once in a while, with no Front-ends connected, my Backend MythBox hard drive light is solid and I hear lots of grinding. When I do a "TOP" in linux to see what processes are running, I see that Mysqld is using 90% processor. What is happening here? If I try to watch TV when this is happening, the screen pauses on many frames, and the sound stutters. Thanks! -hunter |

Yes thats very likely. I guess I would need to inspect the database before and after that happens if I wanted to be sure. Without a hardware capture card, I think my machine just gets loaded down too much when this is happening. thanks -hunter |
