Post subject:  Records a set show for only a sec or 2
I just got my box up and running and have run into this 2 times tonight

I recorded a show from
6:30 - 7:00 no problem
7:00 - 7:30 stopped after 30 sec
7:30 - 8:00 no problem
8:00 - 9:00 stopped in seconds (data in recordings stated 8:00 - 8:00 with 0 file size)
9:00 - 10:00 stopped in seconds (was watching this and told it to resume recording)

I am using R5D1 with upgrade to Mythtv 0.20 installed as per instructions on this board.

Any ideas if there is a setting I have missed? If there is processes going on that is hogging all the resources?

I don't know much about Linux so don't really know where to look.

If it is stopping, you need to take a look at the backend log to see why. I'd suggest taking a gander at the troubleshooting article on the wiki.

Had nothing but problems so i reformated and installed R5D1 and DIDNOT upgrade to v0.20 of MythTv and everything is now working great, Think i will stay with 0.19 until you have an upgrade available for the whole system, I am obviouly not qualified to do the upgrade/fixes myself :D

I have to keep this simple or my wife will get on my case for buying the system in the first place. :lol:
