I called comcat to get the channel frequency settings they use in my area 94952....i talked to 3 diffrent people, they all tell me either they dont know it or cant give that info out....any ideas?? |

Here in eastern MA they use us-cable-irc but that's generally close enough to us-cable that switching is just a fine tuning excercise. Try "us-cable" if that doesn't work try "us-cable-hrc". If that doesn't work take a stab at "us-broadcast" but that's pretty unlikely. If you're using a PVR card the easiest way to play with these is using "ivtv-tune -t <set-name>" and some channel you know exisits- e.g. Code: ivtv-tune -d /dev/video0 -t us-cable -c 2
ivtv-tune -d /dev/video0 -t us-cable-hrc -c 2 ivtv-tune -d /dev/video0 -t us-bcast -c 2 Make sure you've gone through the troubleshooting pageon the wiki and eliminated any hardware/driver problems first by checking the logfiles. |
