I'm using RD51.
I've put a few albumns into my /myth/music folder. The structure i use is


I have MythMusic set so it displays the entire file tree, which works great (i select artist, album), until i reach the track lists. Every track is then listed as:

instead of the filename:
01 - Miseria Cantare(.mp3)

How can i get this to appear instead of the file path?

My settings are:

Utilities / Setup -> Setup -> Media -> Music -> General
Tree Sorting: directory
Filename format: ARTIST/ALBUM/TRACK - TITLE

Utilities / Setup -> Setup -> Media -> Music -> Player
Show entire music tree: checked

well. the funny thing is that whatever I do, it displays:
"trackno - title "
for all tracks.. exaclty like the way you want it.
I cant change it. no matter what and how I change.


Im trying to get it to display:
"artist - title"
instead... how to do that? any ideas?

im using r5b7 in my backend and r5c7 at my frontend

settings as follow:

ignore ID3: UNchecked

ive tried:
ARTIST/TITLE
ARTIST/ALBUM/TITLE
ARTIST - TITLE

etc etc.. iv tried lots of variations
but no matter what i write it ends up showing

00 - Pride(in the name of love)

ie: it displays tracknumer and title. all my id3-tags contains both artist and title och lots of them have the track numer field empty - still it displays tracknumber(00) and title in mythmusic.

HOw is this supposed to work? anybody can explain it?
Ive read the documentation at mythtv.org but it doesnt make sense to me.


I want it to display "artist" AND "title". no more, no less.

HOWEVER:
if I create a playlist, theses ongs appear like I want:
Artist - title

Must I create a playlist to see the correct content?
I want to browse my hard drive and selecting the album i want for the moment without creating a playlist everytime.

does anybody have any ideas for me? I still cannot seem to fix this!

When i play a song and open 'Track Information' the details are as follows:
Artist: John Butler
Albumn: Three
Title: /myth/music/John Butler/Three/08 - Foundation.mp3
Genre: Unknown
