Post subject: | signal out of range for my TV |
I have been trying to get a signal to my TV that it can display for a few weeks now. I was trying with component cables so I could have an HD signal but it was taking far too long to get that working so I gave up and reverted to a simple composite video cable. All works great during installation and bootup (believe it or not that is a step up from my previous position) but once MythTV's GUI loads it just shows horizontal scan lines and the picture is completely garbled. Can anyone help with this? I don't know what to do to solve this problem. Just have what your think you need take a look at mine below for ideas on how to pair it down --- it will help with debugging.. First of all everyone thank you for your replies! I have made a great deal of progress today. I now get an initial screen when MythTV is initializing the GUI that looks like it has a correct resolution! The initial screen is a pinkish purpleish color and only lasts for a few seconds.
