My system -
Shuttle SN41G2V2
Hauppauge PVR 500 (Samsung tuners)

I was running this system successfully for a while with no problems other than waiting for Samsung tuner support in IVTV for the PVR 500. Just changed to digital cable with a set top box (Motorola DCT 700) and HD TV (Samsung 56" DLP), so I added the following
-Nvidia 6800GT
-Gateway IR receiver (MS MCE style)
-Harmony 880 remote (love this remote BTW)
-IR blaster from www.irblaster.info


Installed Knoppmyth R5D1, did the update to Mythtv 0.20 (as guys have posted here) and started configuration & tweaking. Everything went fine, but I have some IR blaster issues.

The IR blaster *does* work from a command line, but does *nothing* from the Mythtv GUI. I do have the channel_change.sh script specified in my mythtv-setup. Someone on IRC mentioned I should change the logging settings so I see what is happening (or not happening) when I try to change channels from within Mythtv.

Any suggestions on the best way to do that, or any other thoughts?
I would have put this in the hardware section, but it seems to be a configuration/software issue.


The GF is gonna hurt me in my sleep if she can't start recording the new season of tv shows soon.
