While this error message does not appear to be causing any material problems, I am always concerned when I see error messages in the log. I saw another posting that discusses how this can occur with transcoding, but I'm not transcoding ( http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic. ... dec++94210 ).

Does anyone have any insights on this? I'm running R5D1...

Marc

My understanding is that this is the VBI information, and explains why the transcoded recordings loose their CC.

TJC, thanks for replying. I did some more searching but haven't found any explanations of how to fix this. I guess for the time being I'll just ignore it.

I don't think that there is a way to fix it at the moment. The transcoded recordings are fine otherwise.

The strange part is that I'm not doing any transcoding -- I guess there most be some other post-processor that always runs after a recording...
