I accidentally restored my knoppmyth and lost about a month of my programs. I wanted to try to restore them using the myth.rebuilddatabase.pl, which currently doesn't do anything. From my searches I think I have to update it to this http://cvs.mythtv.org/trac/browser/branches/release-0-19-fixes/mythtv/contrib/myth.rebuilddatabase.pl?format=raw so that it will work with mpg files. I am relativly new to linux and cannot figure out how to download and install this using the command shell. If anyone could tell me how, I would really appreciate it.

And make sure that you're not just missing the command line option to tell it to look for MPEG2 files...
