Currently on knoppmyth C7 with .19 mythtv single frontend/backend...

I have two issues with MythVideo...

1. Even after setting Browseable off for some files they still show up in the video directory/browsing picker

2. Telling it to play another video directly after the first video ends doesn't work


...I remember these issues in mythtv .18, but I thought they were listed as fixed in .19. Does anyone know if these were fixed in .20 before I upgrade?

I don't know about the two errors you are having but there were only minor changes to mythvideo in .20. Overall mythvideo is still a work in progress the internal player is not quite there and the sorting in the browser is broken. My suggestion is to check with the mythtv developers about your mythvideo problems.

I don't have those problems with R5B7 (with an upgraded 0.19-fixes). I specifically had to use those features because I ripped a couple of DVDs by just copying the (multiple) VOB files off the DVD, and I only wanted to display, and have to play, the first part of the movie. So my guess is that it isn't a general problem with 0.19.

I think there are two places where you set the browsable attribute - for the browser as a whole and for the individual media files.

You may find the playback issue to be related to the mplayer version. I upgraded mine as part of installing mythstream.

Thanks for the replies - I was using .18SVN prior to moving to knoppmyth and I'm pretty sure these bugs got fixed - but I can't totally remember. I'm using the internal player, so it shouldn't be an mplayer issue.

I'll fire off a post to the mythtv mailing list and see if anyone has run into the same thing on .19. I'd like to wait for a solid .20 under knoppmyth before I move to there if at all possible.
