Hi, I just built a working PVR with a rather low end PC which I found in the attic at work. Since the processor is not the strongest it sometimes takes several seconds before it reacts after hitting a menu option. Especially 'System Information' is very slow. I was wondering if there is an option in MythTV that allows to open a little window that tells the user to wait until the next screen can be opened. That would be especially nice for users who don't really know what is going on behind the scene when they hit a button on the remote. Thanks for all the help I've gotten here by reading the posts. dont know about the dialog message box, but there are some posts here that will let you setup an audible sound when the button is pressed. It gives the user feedback that the button was, in fact, pressed. |

I agree this would be a nice function, when I'm using mythvideo, it takes some time before anything actually happens on the screen, and I sometimes have to press "Down" or "up" to actually see if I pressed the button |
