I succesfully installed R5E50 after some problems with PVR350 Remote Control configuration issues. I installed the script for DVD encription codecs also succesfully (i copied it from a previous system I installed, cause the file install-css.sh is no longer in the same path in R5E50). The problem seems to started after I installed the codecs, the DVD is working Ok with any DVD but my MythBrowser stopped working. It tries to execute it but returns to the Menu. :?


I think it has nothing to do the codecs with the browser but it happened some moment afterwards.

Could someone give me a clue of how to solve this or at least to reinstall only the Browser. Idea

What do you get if you run mythbrowser from the command line?

I finally found the problem thanks to the end of this post http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=11988&highlight=initialize+dev+input+js0

The problem was that inside xorg.conf (former X86Config4) it was loading the glx extension for OpenGL. I'm using a Via motherboard with its own video which I thought could handle that since I was using the Photo transitions with OpenGL. I commented the Load "glx" inside /etc/X11/xorg.conf pressed Ctrl+Alt+backspace to restart the windows environment and "voila" it worked (obviously the photo transitions stopped working but change it to default and is Ok now).
