I have been using the previous release of knoppmyth since it came out, without any problems, and after installing R5E50 I am experiencing plenty of problems.

This was a complete reinstall (auto intsall)

I have been searching through the forums, but haven't find an answer to all of these questions. If you know which threads might help to fix these issues please post.

1) The machine locks up at random times during 'Watch TV" (stuttering audio, picture freezes, controls unresponsive). I have turned off the auto-commerical flag from the setup options.

2) This may be related to the crashes--the backend doesn't run on boot half of the time. *FIXED* Modified the mythtv-backend script.

3) Lirc stops responding at random times (keyboard/remote interface works still).

Ram: Corsair 512MB
Tuner: PVR-150 w/grey remote

Thanks for the reply...

It keeps locking up still after several different fixes..

I'm going back to the previous build.

I went back to R5D1 and I am not experiencing this problem at all.

Problem: While watching Live TV, or listening to an Internet Radio Stream the entire system locks up with an endless loop of the last 1/2 second of audio. I can't even ping the system when this occurs. This lockup occurs randomly, and it usually within 10 mins of watching tv/playing an audio stream.
