Hi,

I have dish network channels in my mythtv guide and it works perfectly with zap2it. I now want to add BEV listings from zap2it as a second video source.

My question is what will happen if there are common channel numbers DN 250 and BEV 250 ?

Thanks in advance.

do you have one or two capture cards?

If you have two, dont worry about it. Even if you have one it will still work fine. I ran that setup for a couple of months and it was able to dicifer the two sources fine. The only thing is though, if you only have one tuner you can only record one at a time though.

Hope that helped.

Yes, multiple guides works great.

If you look at the channels in the database (and how they will be shown in most logs) - there will be a "1" or "2" prefixed to the channel number, depending on which source the channel refers to.

In your example, they'd be 1250 and 2250.
