I'm having trouble figuring out how to address a station that needs to be tuned differently on 2 different sources. For example, TNT-HD is channel 204 via firewire and 117-300 on my HDhomerun (QAM channel ID). My understanding is that you can't have 2 channels with the same XLMID. How do I get these 2 channels to tune properly on their respective devices, and also receive the station info it? DT |

Quote: My understanding is that you can't have 2 channels with the same XLMID. There is no problem with that I have channels coming in over DVB-T that are the same as ones captured from my cable box. All I've done is use 2 different Video Sources, use the default channel numbers for the DVB-T stations and prefix the cable channels by 1.
One thing to watch out for though, is ensure that the channel names and callsigns are the same for the equivalent channels, as you may end up recording the same programme from 2 different sources. Bruce S. |
