I know there is a web interface for controling mythtv that came with my knoppmyth install but I never was able to get it to work, at least not in the way I thought it should.

Is there a web interface in MythTV or the KnoppMyth install that lets me use a web browser to search my video collection?

It looks like I will be doing a mod file to populate the video database using the IMDB into http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=14704 so I am thinking of adding a search feature that lets you find your movies by title, description, actor or other text patterns from data that detail what the movie is about. Unless this has already been done.

If you are looking to manage a database of videos that are external media, check out avimanager. It comes with the knoppmyth distribution, although I suggest grabbing the latest version from their website.
