Post subject:  Time in guide 3 hours off

The data in the guide is 3 hours ahead. My hardware/bios clock is correct. My timezone is linked correctly, and date is set properly.

In mythtv-setup, under the general option, I've set "Time offset for XMLTV listings:" to Auto, None and -0300, all to no solution.

What am I missing here?

Thanks for the help.

An offset of 0 tells the guide that you are in the GMT timezone. An offset of -0300 tells the guide, you are 3 hrs behind GMT. (i.e. at 10:00am GMT, it is 7:00am where you are sitting.) You need to figure out the time difference between where you are and GMT and enter the difference as your offset.

I was confused a bit by that, but now I understand. Thank you.

What I ended up doing was simply removing my video source, adding a new one, then repopulating my database. This seemed to fix the problem.
