How can I confirm which KnoppMyth version is installed on my computer. I think it's R5C7 but I'm not sure.

That sounds like the contents of /etc/mythtv-version (?) See http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13537

You're reither running a _really_ old version, the file has gotten mangled, or you're doing something screwy. For R5C7 the file should say something like "KnoppMyth R5 Cool 7".

This worked thanks

Yes it is an older version and at the same time very stable.

Could you share the name of the file, in case someone else comes along searching for this information?
