Post subject: | Not able to view recordings on windows box |
I recorded a couple shows last night and everything went fine. I can watch the recordings on my myth box with no problems. I have a friend that missed these shows and asked for the files. I got samba working and copied to my xp box. The problem I have is that all of my windows players just show a black screen with no sound when I play the files. I am just using the defaul 5e50 settings for recording for now. Mpeg-2 format. I am thinking about ripping a dvd for him from the myth box but I am not sure how to do this. Any ideas appreciated. |

Please search before asking questions like this. For some reason there always seems to be clumps of people asking the same questions over a relatively short period of time, so you probably have at least a 50-50 chance of being the 2nd or 3rd person asking it this month. This thread for example is less than a week old. http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=15071&highlight=windows+recorded |

Any ideas appreciated. I used vlc for Windows. Played everything flawlessly. Cheers Mike |
