Hi, I am a total newbie at this stuff (well linux anyway) The problem is my guide is showing "UNKNOWN" for about 3/4 of all my channels. The channels work properly and the callsign's are correct and also the channel #. I ran "mythtfilldatabase" last night and it ran for over an hour (I am not sure exact time as I fell asleep) anyways this morning brought up guide and still nada. A couple of the stations now have an icon but only a handful of extra channels got info. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you gotta check the logs, dude.

start with /var/log/mythtv/mythbackend.log

try to make it habit. when you have a problem check the log. a lot of the time, you can figure things out yourself, after some experience with linux. you might find some error messages that you can google or search this forum for. if you still can't figure it out, post the relevant parts of the logs here.
