Post subject: | MythWeb can't connect to mythbackend |
I'm setting up a backend-only server with R5F1 and am hitting a snag. When I try to connect to MythWeb, I get the following error: Code: Unable to connect to the master backend at 127.0.0.1:6543. Is it running? I can't telnet to that port, but mythbackend is running: Code: root@mythtv2:~# ps -ef | grep mythbackend mythtv 3067 1 0 18:15 ? 00:00:00 /usr/bin/mythbackend --daemon --logfile /var/log/mythtv/mythbackend.log --pidfile /var/run/mythtv/mythbackend.pid I did notice some strangeness in mythbackend.log (below). It's complaining because I have two capture cards and one input source that aren't connected to anything. I tried running mythtv-setup, but was unable to delete the unused cards and input sources. Whether I hit the D key or chose "delete all capture cards", the extra cards are still hanging around. Does anyone have any suggestions about further diagnosing the problem? Just did another forum search and came up with this thread, which looks suspiciously similar: http://www.mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewto ... elete+card I'll do some more hacking to see if it's the same problem as what I'm having. |
