Does anyone know how to remove a recording profile group?

I know this post is old, but does anyone have an answer? The only thing I've found is to use the "D" key, but it does nothing.

I never did find a way. The only answer I could ever find was "D" -- but as you've discovered, that doesn't work.

Okay...I added one thinking it was a "recording group", but I finally figured out how to add the recoding group (not very obvious to me). I don't think it will hurt anything to just leave it for now.
