Sorry if this has been covered....

Any ideas around how Knoppmyth will address the schedules direct change? It seems like (if I'm reading it right) there will be a database change and a some new binaries needed (a few files just patched and recompiled)

I'm just wondering if I need to start preparing for a new install (I have some custom stuff that upgrades don't like much :P) or whether there will be some smaller tarball/script that can work the support in that way.

Doesn't really say much concrete about what needs to be done now that the patch is actually in the mythtv source tree (and was released only a few days ago)....but I've missed threads before :-)
