From time to time I need to restart the MBE, you know tweak here & there. When doing this the SBE then doesn't 'reconnect' it's capture cards. It will usually still be able to play recordings and videos, but not record.

Is there a way to restart the SBE from the MBE? Would running the babysitter script help here?

Why not write a script that does it? Create a key on the SBE, and export it to the MBE. This way you don't have to type in your password. Your script would look something like:
