Folks, I record The Today Show every day and the new 4 hour show has gotten complicated. This happened just about the time we went to SD and the first week or so they had it as 1 4 hour time slot. No problem. Then some einstein decided to break up the schedule into a 2 hour and 2-1 hour segments. I have tried "record in this timeslot every day" and a few others but only manual overrides works. What am I missing to have Myth record all 3 segments automagically? Thanks, Kevin |

from the menus Manage Recordings -> Schedule Recordings -> Manual Schedule --OR-- (I've never tried this, but I think it will do what you want) when scheduling the recording, select "record any time on this channel" (to prevent duplicate recording on subchannels) then select "scheduling options" and then "don't match duplicates". Please try both, and post back with any success or problems. |

Thanks for the suggestions. I did them in the opposite order you suggested. I also had not used 'don't match duplicates' even though I have used 'record any time on this channel' This did not seem to work but once I cranked the priority up to +3 it looks like I am good to go. Hopefully the schedulers will figure this out some day as my directv lineup mirrors SDs. Thanks
