Is there a way to compensate for 1 channel schedule wanting to be on the other coast? This isn't an SD thing as it's wrong even on my cable box. Can I make just this one channel go +3hrs? TIA |

Search for the copy_channel.sh script I posted a while back. All you need to do is create a time tweeker based on that (it covers the tables you need to touch) that which updates the start and end times. To avoid the partial update problem (has this record already been time corrected?) I'd probably keep the original separate (and hidden) and make a full copy of the records into a pseudo channel each time. |

Thanks tjc. However I 'rediscovered' the menu I knew I had seen before and fixed my issue. In the setup sections under 5. (Channel Editor?) when you get to the channels, you can highlight a channel and hit (e) which brings an edit screen. From this screen you can include a time offset for the schedule. Now my mythbox gets the schedule correctly where my cable box is still 3hrs off! |
