Sempron 2600+
Nvidia 5200
512megs

Kworld PLusTV lite PCI
Detects as unknown/generic saa7134

Tried different frequency settings (cable, cable-irc, bcast, default)
Get a black screen. Not even snow.
cannot change the input from Default.

anyone got an idea?

oh, and it works in winxp.. a driver issue perhaps?

Have you been through the BlackScreenWatchingTV troubleshooting page on the wiki? Especially the configuration walk through? Did you pick the appropriate capture card type?

It may simply be an unsupported card. Try googling for v4l2 saa7134 drivers supported hardware...
