Is there a way to schedule so it will record a show whenever it's on, except if there is no subtitle? I have for instance Family Guy set to record at any time on any channel, and keep 6 episodes (expiring old) but...so much of the guide data is simply "Family Guy" with no episode info, it's pointless to record them. I don't really care what episodes I have, I just want them to stay "fresh" but without the subtitle, I just get a bunch of useless titles, and really, they end up just wasting space as they don't get watched. I only watch them if I read the subtitle and description and it's either a good episode, or one that I don't recall, and thus "new to me" ![]() If you have any ideas, thanks -C |

Have you tried 'Duplicate Check" = subtitle? |

I've tried all the options...the only one that removes them, is the "new recordings" only...and that's no good. ![]() |

Hmm, looks like it might be a bug? http://www.nabble.com/Generic-Episodes- ... 15552.html |

as a hack, you could try updating the program table setting null subtitles to a non-null value...maybe 'No-subtitle' I bet subtitle matching would work. trick would be to update the subtitle after the schedule load and before the recording is scheduled. |

How about creating a custom recording schedule item for the title "Family Guy", and then modifying it to include an additional clause to exclude programs without a subtitle: Code: program.title="Family Guy" and program.subtitle<>""
