I have a Kworld DVB-S Card running on a dell optiplex system with an NVidia video card. Had previous release running with a cable tuner and worked well. Decided to put in a DVB-S card and use new release. I have verifed that the card is working by generating a channels.conf and testing with szap and dvbstream piped out to xine. I've configured mythtv according to several documents using inputs etc, but when I scan for channels I get transports but no channels. When I try to import the channels.conf, mythtv just tries to scan but doesn't actually import the channel information. Any one have any ideas? |

In which screen are you doing the channel scan? When I was trying to scan for DVD-T channels in the Channel Editor it would either find nothing or just one of the five local broadcasters. I eventually found that the scanner in Input Connections worked better, even though they look the same. UPDATE: Sorry just noticed that you were already trying Inputs. |

Anyone have any ideas? I am in the process of mapping the channels.conf file to the new database, but it's tedious work. |
