I've got a PVR-150 working just fine with analog cable on the Tuner input (coax). I just added a STB to the S-video input. I don't have an IR blaster yet -- I have one on order. In the meantime, I figured I could manually switch the channel on the STB to record stuff.

Here's the rub: When I schedule a recording on any channel under 99, the recording works just fine -- it records whatever channel the STB is set to. If I try scheduling a recording on a channel above 99, I get a "Recorder Failed" error as soon as the recording starts, and it records nothing.

I've got the S-video input set to channel 3, and as I said above, it works fine as long as I don't try to schedule something outside the analog range. Anybody know how I can get my input to accept recordings in the digital cable realm? I'd hate to have a bunch of HBO movies listed in my database as "CNN Headline News," but that's my only alternative at this point.

Okay, never mind. Apparently, you can't leave the channel changing script field blank and expect things to work, so adding

/bin/true

to that field got everything working just fine.
