I've got a PVR-150 working just fine with analog cable on the Tuner input (coax). I just added a STB to the S-video input. I don't have an IR blaster yet -- I have one on order. In the meantime, I figured I could manually switch the channel on the STB to record stuff. Here's the rub: When I schedule a recording on any channel under 99, the recording works just fine -- it records whatever channel the STB is set to. If I try scheduling a recording on a channel above 99, I get a "Recorder Failed" error as soon as the recording starts, and it records nothing. I've got the S-video input set to channel 3, and as I said above, it works fine as long as I don't try to schedule something outside the analog range. Anybody know how I can get my input to accept recordings in the digital cable realm? I'd hate to have a bunch of HBO movies listed in my database as "CNN Headline News," but that's my only alternative at this point. |

Okay, never mind. Apparently, you can't leave the channel changing script field blank and expect things to work, so adding /bin/true to that field got everything working just fine. |
