Hi, I'm trying to build some external scripts that will do 'stuff' when certian actions are invoked in Mythtv. Specifically, I'd love to be able to grab when a)The Begging of Recorded Show or Live Tv is initiated b)When pause, stop c)When Mythvideo is launched.. d)if an external app is launched. any hints/tips/hacks would be great.. prosonik |

With C and D I would suggest you could write a script that replaced the standard function, so that it will do the other things you need to do and then launch the appropriate function that was selected. Could you monitor the backend log file for events, once you know what the text is when the event is triggered you could do what your after. Just throwing it out there. |
