I have a R5F27 fresh install running on and Intel main board. 1 gig of ram, 2 hard drives (320gig IDE and a 500 Gig SATA) PVR-150 and PVR-350. Everything has been working great! Both tuners doing their jobs, no complaints. Then all of a sudden, any time that I hit the back key on my Dog bone remote, or when I stop watching a recorded show. I get dumped to X. This phenomenon is also happening when a recoded show or a ripped DVD ends.

At this point I have to grab the mouse (forced to reconnect it) right click and select RESTART.

Any Ideas?

I LOVE MY MYTHTV! So Cool!

frontend gets tempermental for me when /myth gets full. For me, I get kicked out when I start to watch a recorded program. Check the disk space.

Run the frontend from an XTerm (Alt-X, mythfrontend -v all) and hit the problem button on the remote or stop watching a recorded show. The output should help pinpoint the culprit.

If I read that right you're 99% full on /myth, and 99% full on /myth is full. Delete or archive enough of that to get down about 95% full, and see how things go.

When I do this and try to quit watching a recorded show I get Segmentation Fault as the last line in the Xterm window. Nothing esle looks questionable.

I removed 4 ISOs that were taking up space to end up with:

Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda1 4828768 2143908 2440272 47% /
/dev/hda3 305687672 125451104 180236568 42% /myth
tmpfs 516168 4 516164 1% /dev/shm
/dev/sda1 480719056 28213768 428086088 7% /myth/music

Still getting the same problem..

Sigh
