I was wondering if anyone had worked with one of these before, or if it could be used as a frontend, like an apple tv:

Myth can be a UPnP Server; This thing can be a UPnP client.
While it doesn't look like it would run the mythfrontend itself, it seems like it would allow playback of your files without hacking.

On the one hand it has a lot of features I want; on the other hand it seems too good to be true.

Definitely a piece of hardware to watch.

The Popcornhour NMT is unbefreakenleivable. I did some trolling on their forum, and it seems that there are users using this thing as a frontend to their myth boxes. Not a mythfrontend, mind but a frontend. They have varying degrees of success. Apparantly the NMT doesn't like some, but not all, of the MPEG-2 files coming off cards like like the PVR-150. HDHomeRun files are reportedly fine.

Some say it works fine over UPnP others suggest NFS mounting your Pretty directory. The thing is small, I can't be certain, but it looks fanless.

Oh, and it does 1080p.

it looks like mythfrontend is on their roadmap, but they seem more like GB-PVR fans, which is odd since the NMT is a linux box.

The reviews I've found aren't dated April 1, and don't seem to be from Nigeria, but this thing still just seems too good to be true...

I know those guys use MythTV, don't recall how much they talked about MythTV in that review.
