This is retarded... If the cable companies pull this, I'll just be forced to get my content other ways... I thought that an FCC under Obama would be more understanding of consumer requirements. I mean, hell, they are talking about passing net neutrality laws, why would they allow crap like this? |

The effort that the cable companies make to restrict/block/control paid-for content is proportionally countered by folks who are making it easier to get the illegal stuff onboard. When will these guys at the cable companies learn that most people have absolutely no problem paying for content when it is reasonably priced and isn't wrapped in a whack of pain in the ass DRM. At the end of the day they're just pushing people in the hands of the bootleggers who are in turn making it easier and easier to take advantage. |
