My Mythweather works except for 18 hour forecast. This hasn't worked for me in the last several releases. Having fixed all of the more pressing problems I decided to have a look.

If I manually run the script here is what I get.
Code:
[root@mythtv mythtv]# /usr/share/mythtv/mythweather/scripts/us_nws/ndfd18.pl -u ENG -d /home/mythtv/.mythtv/MythWeather/NDFD-18_Hour 42.5,-79.28
defined(%hash) is deprecated at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/SOAP/Lite.pm line 466.
(Maybe you should just omit the defined()?)

18hrlocation::Chautauqua County / Dunkirk Airport, NY

/home/mythtv/.mythtv/MythWeather/NDFD-18_Hour does get populated with the Location information but nothing else.

Not quite sure where to go from here. Is anyone else having a similar issue?

Thanks,

Tim

Not working here either. My best guess would be a format change for the NDFD data.

Kind of a shame because even the best forecasts around here only get it right about 70% of the time, and the NWS digital forecast only gets it right 62% of the time according to Forecast Advisor - http://www.forecastadvisor.com/

And that's after the forecast changes by as much as 25F from the 3 day outlook to the forecast for today. I really wish that web site did statistics on how much the forecast changes from the 3 or better 5 day to today. Boston weather is notoriously changeble but the forecasts seem to change about twice as much.

tjc,

Well it's some consolation to know it's not just me! Thanks for the post.
