My Mythweather works except for 18 hour forecast. This hasn't worked for me in the last several releases. Having fixed all of the more pressing problems I decided to have a look. If I manually run the script here is what I get. Code: [root@mythtv mythtv]# /usr/share/mythtv/mythweather/scripts/us_nws/ndfd18.pl -u ENG -d /home/mythtv/.mythtv/MythWeather/NDFD-18_Hour 42.5,-79.28 defined(%hash) is deprecated at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/SOAP/Lite.pm line 466. (Maybe you should just omit the defined()?) defined(%hash) is deprecated at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/SOAP/Lite.pm line 2151. (Maybe you should just omit the defined()?) 18hrlocation::Chautauqua County / Dunkirk Airport, NY Can't understand returned Content-Encoding (gzip) /home/mythtv/.mythtv/MythWeather/NDFD-18_Hour does get populated with the Location information but nothing else. Not quite sure where to go from here. Is anyone else having a similar issue? Thanks, Tim |

Not working here either. My best guess would be a format change for the NDFD data. Kind of a shame because even the best forecasts around here only get it right about 70% of the time, and the NWS digital forecast only gets it right 62% of the time according to Forecast Advisor - http://www.forecastadvisor.com/ And that's after the forecast changes by as much as 25F from the 3 day outlook to the forecast for today. I really wish that web site did statistics on how much the forecast changes from the 3 or better 5 day to today. Boston weather is notoriously changeble but the forecasts seem to change about twice as much. |

tjc, Well it's some consolation to know it's not just me! Thanks for the post. Tim |
