| Post subject: | MythVideo not downloading movie posters |
I've looked everywhere to solve this, but with no luck. My MythVideo can download all the imbd info fine, but it never downloads posters. I checked the imdb.pl script, and it returns poster locations just fine. I checked permissions on the poster directory, and that wasn't it. Anyone have any ideas? Please help!! |

Yeah, I suspect that many of the "poster" links on imdb have been replaced by redirects to ads like: http://www.impawards.com/hotlink/ad.jpg I saw the same sort of issue when attempting to 'save as...' a picture on imdb recently. They set up the picture as the background of an empty table and somehow made the save as... point to an advertisement as well. Had to grab the url from the view/source. -brendan |
