I noticed something in dmesg
tuner 0-0061: tuner type not set

how do I set it?

PLEASE HELP~
I have a Hauppauge PVR-350 and I have read every howto and wiki there is
This box has an AGP TNT2 card, (2) Hard drives, (1) DVD burner, (1) PVR-350, (1) Hawking WiFi cart(rt2500)
when I run myth now I find the following problems,
1) I can't have ivtv-fb loaded when I startx --- after X comes up, I modprobe ivtv-fb first thing.
2)I am running this as root because the permissions on the /dev/ directory are in quesiton, chmod -R 777 /dev/* by root allows the mythtv user to get the same results as root. To eliminate problems I just did this as root to be sure permissions were not the problem.
3)I get NO TV!!! when I select watch TV I can see on my TV the myth info, channel number, program name and description, ect. I hit the "c" key to change to the different composite0,1,2,3,4 inputs but it is all the same.
4)when I emerged the ivtv driver did that not install the firmware?
5) I have tried US-Cable, US-Cable-hrc, US-bcast.. nothing seems to change the result.(how can I tell what it is anyway)
6)lirc does not work and I don't know what else to do, but that take a back seat to getting the video in the first place.
7)scheduling recording works, it is all black but the video is titled what it should have recorded.

I have not touched the xorg.conf file because I don't want X to open into TV yet, since it is broke!

I feel that the PVR-350 is being used by myth to output the info, I think my input is failing. please please help
