Post subject: | R5A16 + PVR-500MCE almost working! [SOLVED] |
Hey all, I've been reading every forum page about the PVR-500 I know some people have been lucky at getting them to work. I'm running: R5A16 ivtv-0.3.5f (I aslo tried ivtv-0.3.8 and ivtv-0.3.9) all with no luck PVR-500MCE Seagate 200GB Nvidia FX5200 Asus CUSL2 Mother board 256 MB RAM Sofar what I've got is 2 channels one in colour, one in black and white, the tuner can't change the channels but everything else works fine. The TV listings from Zap2it work great however I can't figure out how to set the tuner type so that it works. I get the error: tuner 1-0060: tuner type not set... but it does look like get set at some point. my dmesg looks like this: Code: ivtv: ==================== START INIT IVTV ==================== ivtv: ideas I've kind of tried everything I can think of. I've reinstalled the ivtv drivers, the firmware from the CD and all the other things that other how-tos and tips I could find. Thanks everyone!!! I'm sure this is prolly a small error somewhere in one of my files but I'm just over looking it. Again thanks, - Andrew - [/code] |
