I just installed 5A22 and all goes well until I try to watch TV. The default channel comes up fine (no jitters unlike windows on same system and I can change channels on windows) but when I try to change channels the backend crashes.
I saw in another post that it maybe related to signal strength and that shows up in the backed log apparently - where do I find the backend logs?

For info my system is as follows
Albatron KM18G-PRO with inbuilt nforce2 & TVOUT
Athlon 2800+
512MB ram
Dual Dvico Fusion HDTV DVB-T Lite cards

any other suggestions?
TIA

Ok I removed the second dvb card just incase that was interferring?? The backend log has the following which shows the box running but I can't see where the channel change occurs. You can see from the times where I had to reboot as the whole thing locked up.

I got the channels by running the auto scan feature and this got all the channels I expected and some. I am now at a total lose.

OK I have partially fixed the crashes. It appears that my problem is caused by me not tagging the "Visible" box in the channel window during setup. Having now done that I can change channels up & down but when I try to go past the last or before the first channel it crashes. When I was using a analogue card the channel changing was never ending like a TV.
The backend.log shows got good signal when a successful channel change occurs, the following is the pertinant part at the crash with a successful change just before:
DVB #1 DVB SI Table Parser Started.
DVB #1 Data read from DMX- This is for debugging with transform.c
Got Good signal
DVB #1 DVB SI Table Parser Started.
DVB #1 Data read from DMX- This is for debugging with transform.c
DVB #1 ERROR - Could not find dvb tuning parameters for transport 0
DVB #1 ERROR - Failed to get channel options for channel

the screen usually locks then goes Black and after awhile I get a message box:
The connection to the master backend server has gone away for some reason.. Is it running?

On another note how do I delete the channels I don't want (lots of duplicates here in Cairns)
