| Post subject: | Newbie needs help setting up tv_grab |
Hi folks, Can anyone give me a quick tutorial on setting up a program guide for MythTV? I tried the Wiki, but don't see anything useful. When setting up MythTV in the mythtv-setup, I was surprised to see that my location was listed (Iceland) with a corresponding "tv_grab_is" file availble. I then get the instruction that I'll need to run "mythfilldatabase --manual" the first time. When I log in as root and run "mythfilldatabase --manual", I just get error messages "nice: tv_grab_is: No such file or directory". Do I have to download this "tv_grab_is" file from somewhere, like Sourceforge.net? If so, in what directory do I put it? Since it was already listed in the mythtv-setup, I had thought there's already one included in R5A22. Thanks, Lev. |
