I have gotten farther then I ever have with trying to get MythTv working. I have both a coaxial cable (basic cable)& a S-Video connection to my pvr card. Using the command "cat/dev/video1 > blah.mpg" actually results in a successful video capture from my S-Video connection. A first for me!

The problem I have is with MythTv when I select "Watch Tv" ... I get the following message "unable to initialize video". I figured I would need to set the video input with the "ivtvctl" command but I ran into another problem:
Any option other than -H for help results in a message "ivtvctl is not an ivtv device driver". Any ideas?
