I have searched but cannot come up with an answer to this... On TIVO when fast forwarding (say a commercial) on any FF level 2 or higher, there is an overshoot correction. I consider this a very handy tool and my stupid Comcast DVR does not do this. This is what is prompting me to build my MythTV box, but I was wondering does MythTV do this like TIVO? Thanks in advance.

There is a tunable setting related to this in the setup screens...
