Hi,

I installed mythtvburn on my Fedora Core 3 machine and I am having a couple of issues. I hope I can explain everything correctly, and sorry that this post is so long!

Issue #1: When attempting to burn from mythweb, the mythtvburn shell script dies and does not create a log. The web user is apache and the permissions on the temp directory are:
Code:
[root@localhost temp]# pwd
/videos/vids/temp
[root@localhost temp]# ls -ld .
drwxr-xr-x  3 apache apache 16 Dec 15 10:15 .

I do however receive an email to the root user with the following contents:
Quote:

I figured out the two issues I was having.

1. Permissions were incorrect on a directory leading to the temp directory.
2. I needed to downgrade Project X from .90.2 to .82

I'm looking for some general guidelines to foloow tro try and get mythburn going. Could lay some down for me?

It appears you need:

projectx .82
XvFb
Java

Anything else? There aren't any Fedora guides that I can find and it sure is tough finding anyone willing to talk about it.

Thanks for any help you can give.
