OK, this is not really a "must have" feature for a Media Center TV, but it would be nice to show some pdf or ppt files easily on my TV using MythTV. Any chance I can do that? Maybe through MythGallery?

Thanks
Steve

I'll admit I have not tried this, since I don't have a need for it:
You should be able to add the .ppt and .pdf file type in your
video preferences and install / link to appropriate viewers.
Then, you should be able to see and view your files through
the video listing.

Well seeing as how I started KnoppMyth, I'd like to keep it vital.... No, MythGallery cannot display PDFs or PPT. I suppose if one wants to get clever, one could install the needed app(s) to handle such file types and create a button to launch said app. Is this going to be something support out the box? No. KnoppMyth is big enough as is and trying to keep on top of everything can be a full time job.
