Yes, it should be. You simply have to manually edit the XML file (define a player in future releases of MythTV). Take a look at gamelist.xmll in /usr/games. |

OK, if its theoretically possible, i`ll try it and report the result. Now there must be a way to controle the mouse cursor via the remote, than everything is fine, but i think thats not possible. Perhaps there we need a bluemote or something lite that... Greetings Wulf And Cesman - i Love your job here... ![]() The only thing is, that we PAL people always have a lot to do to get our hardware running as easy as the NTSC guys ![]() |

If you have an ATI remote, you can use it as a mouse. I'd be happy to include whatever PAL users need. It is just a matter of someone provide clear concise details. If is far easy to get something into KnoppMyth with easy instructions. ![]() |

Yes, it can be purchased seperatly. If work using the kernel module (have not checked if works w/ LIRC) and configuring X to use a USB mouse. The "big round button" at the top of the remote functions as the mouse. If have specific questions are the remote, then please start a new thread or search the existing thread on the remote. |

I've got this working...kind of... Installed ScummVM and applicable libraries using apt-get. Then using the ScummVM app, I added Sam n Max and configured it the way I wanted. This allows the possibility of running 'scummvm samnmax' in bash, so then I added samnmax as a game player with that as the command and it runs. However, for some reason I can't get it to run full screen, only windowed...possibly because of my native resolution - 1680x1050 on a phillips 220W 22" monitor. Any ideas, anyone? |

Heres another issue with this. ScummVM, as well as cedega and other gameplayers are capable of running games from CLI, same as xmame and zsnes. I have added my scummvm games to /myth/games/scummvm, and also put a directory there called roms which contains dummy files named after the scummvm game id ie monkey, tentacle etc, for the mythgame scanner to pick up. Then in Mythgame I add ScummVM as a player, to start with the command '/usr/games/scummvm %s' since scummvm starts with the command 'scummvm <gameid>'. and point the rom folder to /myth/games/scummvm/roms. logically, unless my logic really stinks, mythgame scan should pick up the dummy files, register them as roms and supply the name as the %s when I start the game. But it doesnt. The scan ignores my dummy files, and in my game tree all I see is the player scummvm, and a game also called scummvm which doesnt work. Any idea why this would happen? anyone? |
